All home health professionals employed by VNANNJ in registered nursing jobs, home health aide jobs and rehabilitation nursing jobs must be NJ licensed, and although previous home care experience is not required, it is preferred.

Act as a resource for all staff in assessing/instructing clients and their families about appropriate nutrition, and work collaboratively with health team members in coordinating nutritional care. Must be a Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Public Health Nutrition; 3 yrs exp in clinical
or public health. Previous home care exp & Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities include: providing skilled nursing assessment, planning, and care in order to maximize the comfort & health of patients and families; providing direct nursing service & nursing case mgmt; developing/implementing a comprehensive plan of care and revising/updating as needed; discharge planning. Requirements: 1yr. of acute care exp; previous hospice, oncology & pain mgmt exp. Hospice home health exp pref.

Supervise Accounting, Payroll, and A/P staff, and perform general accounting/financial duties. Responsibilities: monthly processing of the G/L; assist in preparing monthly accounting financial reports & year-end cost report; maintain the Daily Account Balance Report; maintain petty cash disbursements; control disbursement of A/P checks; prepare journal entries, monthly bank reconciliations, and revenue/ receivable reconciliations; assist in preparing/ reviewing all audit-related information and examination of annual financial statements. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; min 2 yrs supervisory exp; working knowledge of computers, including exp with mgmt & payroll information systems; detail-oriented with strong communication & organizational skills; ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
